3d Print Project Online Showcase

Wednesday 25th August 2021 – 10am to 3.30PM – Online

3D printing, or additive manufacturing, will democratise the production of goods, from food to medical supplies, to great coral reefs. The future of 3D printing is full of potential for improving lives and positively disrupting the world as we know it.

Hosted by the University of Wolverhampton in the UK, this FREE one-day event will demonstrate 3D printer assembly kits, 3D printing techniques and innovation and introduce new 3D printing learning materials for schools and students in higher education.

If you are a teacher, lecturer, undergraduate student or an engineer in industry, interested in 3D printing techniques and innovative uses of the technology, this event will give you a deeper understanding of the potential uses of 3D printing and access to the mobile friendly E-Learning course that is available free from the project website.

There will also be an open session for questions and discussion with the 3D printing specialists who have worked on the materials. This event is the culmination of a 3-year project that has included the development of a low cost 3d printer – the information covered will be valuable and fresh.
